Liesl was born in Turnhout, Belgium 1998. She graduated from KASK School of Arts, Ghent with a Bachelor's in Visual Arts specializing in Fashion and currently finishing her Master's in Fashion Design at the Swedish School of Textiles in Borås.
From telling a story about myself, my view of the world, a memory, or a statement to a creation. I always start at the beginning, the fabrics. Creating textiles through manipulations, dying, printing, knitting, etc. helps me visualize my story. Besides that, it is my goal to create in a sustainable way where I thrive to look for better solutions, low waste, and natural or second-hand materials.
